Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the introspection on what makes a being "real", and Spock's eventual acceptance of himself as a creature worthy of being recognized as such. And the whole thing with Amanda and the Mother subroutine sort of made me tear up. That's so beautifully tragic. I am bookmarking this; it's just fantastic.
